CEBA geoportail provides aggregated eDNA metabarcoding datasets and presence/absence matrices to characterize fish assemblages and support biodiversity assessment in the aquatic ecosystems of French Guiana.


Key Features:

  • Consistent eDNA dataset: Compiles eDNA sampling sites across French Guiana collected from 2014 to 2019 and is continuously updated following each collecting campaign.
  • Taxon by site matrix: Provides presence/absence data for fish species inferred from eDNA samples, enabling spatial and temporal comparison of species distributions.

Scientific Applications:

  • Biodiversity monitoring: Enables monitoring of changes in aquatic biodiversity over time using eDNA-derived species detections.
