CoverageTool
CoverageTool is a semi-automated, robust software for characterizing various visual plant traits. The tool's versatility is demonstrated through its application in quantifying diverse phenotypes, including tissue culture parameters, ground surface covered by annual plant canopy, root and leaf projected surface area, and leaf senescence area ratio. CoverageTool's simplicity and straightforward design make it accessible to researchers while maintaining its suitability for various applications. The software has proven valuable in several recently published studies, highlighting its potential to advance plant phenotyping research across multiple domains.
