EK-DRD provides experimentally validated annotations for FDA-approved and withdrawn small-molecule drugs to support systematic drug repositioning and identification of new therapeutic uses.

- Annotation levels: Target assay records (30,944), cell assay records (3,999), organism assay records (585), and clinical trial records (8,889).
- Curation methods: Annotations obtained through text and data mining techniques complemented by manual curation.
- Integration: Links approximately 1,799 repositioning protein or target sequences with 856 related diseases and 1,332 pathways.
- Search modalities: Supports text, sequence, chemical structure, and relational queries.
