ELIMU-MDx

ELIMU-MDx provides storage, management, and analysis of quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) data to support molecular diagnostics and reproducible reporting in accordance with MIQE.

Key Features:

  • Data storage and management: Stores raw qPCR results and associated metadata for organized assay record-keeping.
  • qPCR data analysis: Performs analysis of quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction (qPCR) data including quantification of nucleic acid targets.
  • MIQE compliance: Captures and enforces metadata and reporting elements required by the Minimum Information for Publication of Quantitative Real-Time PCR Experiments (MIQE) guidelines to support reproducibility.
  • RDML import compatibility: Imports Real-time Data Markup Language (RDML) files from major qPCR instruments to integrate instrument output.
  • Assay documentation: Centralizes management and documentation of qPCR assays for consistent record and result tracking.

Scientific Applications:

  • Molecular diagnostics: Supports diagnostic qPCR assays for detection and quantification of nucleic acid targets.
  • Reproducible reporting: Facilitates MIQE-compliant reporting for publication and inter-laboratory comparison of qPCR experiments.
  • Multi-instrument data integration: Enables aggregation and comparative analysis of qPCR data from different instruments via RDML.

Methodology:

Imports RDML-formatted data from qPCR instruments, stores qPCR results and metadata, and provides analysis workflows and metadata handling aligned with MIQE guidelines.
