NBDC RDF Portal

NBDC RDF Portal aggregates life science datasets in the Resource Description Framework (RDF) and exposes them via SPARQL endpoints to enable database interoperability, large-scale semantic querying, and automatic data processing.

Key Features:

• RDF-formatted datasets: Houses life science datasets represented in the Resource Description Framework (RDF).
• SPARQL endpoints: Provides SPARQL endpoints for all included datasets to support semantic queries across datasets.
• Dataset metadata: Includes metadata for each dataset describing context and scope.
• RDF file downloads: Allows download of RDF files for local computational analyses.
• Scale: Contains 21 RDF datasets comprising over 45.5 billion triples (as of July 2018).
• Curation and review: Datasets are reviewed by the National Bioscience Database Center (NBDC) to ensure interoperability and queryability.
