Ordino

Ordino enables flexible ranking, filtering, and exploration of genes, cell lines, and tissue samples using pre-loaded datasets such as The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia (CCLE) as well as user-uploaded data to support cancer genomics analyses.

Key Features:

  • Flexible ranking and filtering: Provides configurable ranking and filtering of genes, cell lines, and tissue samples for targeted prioritization.
  • Data integration: Leverages pre-loaded datasets including TCGA and CCLE and accepts user-uploaded data for combined analysis.
  • Interactive tabular visualization: Supports interactive, table-based visualization to drive data-driven prioritization and exploration.
  • Detailed item views: Offers focused views for selected genes, cell lines, or samples to enable deeper examination of attributes and metrics.
  • Session management: Stores, shares, and reproduces analysis sessions to support reproducibility of findings.

Scientific Applications:

  • Gene and entity prioritization: Prioritizes candidate genes and other biological entities for follow-up in cancer genomics studies.
  • Integrative analysis of TCGA and CCLE: Enables comparative and integrative analyses combining TCGA and CCLE datasets with user data.
  • Exploration of samples and cell lines: Facilitates exploration of tissue samples and cancer cell lines to identify patterns and biomarkers.
  • Reproducible analysis workflows: Supports reproducible storage and sharing of analysis sessions for validation and collaborative research.

Methodology:

Implements configurable ranking and filtering, integration of TCGA, CCLE and user-uploaded data, interactive tabular visualization, detailed item views, and session storage/sharing to enable reproducible exploratory analyses.
