PCOSBase
PCOSBase provides a curated repository of proteins and associated annotations to support molecular research into polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

- Functional annotations: Maps proteins to 13,237 gene ontology terms, 1,004 pathways, and 7,936 domains.

- Curation and selection: Applies rigorous selection criteria and manual curation to ensure relevance to PCOS.

Methodology:
Proteins were collected from online databases and published expression studies, filtered using defined selection criteria, manually curated for gene ontologies, pathways, domains, tissue localizations and disease associations, interactions were integrated, and related publications were indexed.
