RNAactDrug
RNAactDrug maps associations between drug sensitivity and RNA molecules (messenger RNAs (mRNAs), long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs), and microRNAs (miRNAs)) by integrating multi-omics pharmacogenomic data from GDSC, CellMiner, and CCLE.
Key Features:
- Multi-Omics Integration: Integrates four molecular levels—expression, copy number variation, mutation, and methylation—for mRNAs, lncRNAs, and miRNAs to assess relationships with drug sensitivity.
- Extensive Data Coverage: Contains over 4,924,200 RNA–drug sensitivity associations covering more than 19,770 mRNAs, 11,119 lncRNAs, 438 miRNAs, and 4155 drugs derived from GDSC, CellMiner, and CCLE.
- RNA Prioritization and Biomarker Identification: Enables prioritization of RNA molecules related to drug sensitivity and identification of clinically actionable RNA biomarkers predictive of drug response.
- Support for Precision Medicine: Provides association data that can inform individualized cancer chemotherapy and other precision medicine strategies.
Scientific Applications:
- Prioritizing RNAs: Prioritize candidate mRNAs, lncRNAs, and miRNAs associated with drug sensitivity across expression, CNV, mutation, and methylation data.
- Biomarker Discovery: Identify clinically actionable RNA biomarkers predictive of drug response for translational and clinical research.
- Personalized Chemotherapy: Inform individualized cancer chemotherapy by linking specific RNA profiles to drug sensitivity.
- Drug Development Support: Inform drug development and candidate selection by narrowing RNA–drug associations, potentially enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Methodology:
Integrates pharmacogenomic data from GDSC, CellMiner, and CCLE and analyzes expression, copy number variation, mutation, and methylation to associate mRNAs, lncRNAs, and miRNAs with drug sensitivity.
