VISDB
VISDB compiles and annotates viral integration sites in the human genome to support analysis of virus–host genomic interactions and their roles in disease.
Key Features:
- Curated Viral Integration Site Repository: Contains 77,632 experimentally reported viral integration sites for DNA viruses (HBV, HPV, EBV, AAV2, MCV) and RNA retroviruses (HIV, HTLV-1, MLV, XMRV).
- Comprehensive Genomic Annotation: Annotates integration sites with target genes, nearby genes, nearest transcription start sites, chromosome fragile sites, CpG islands, and viral and host genomic sequences.
- Oncogene and Tumor Suppressor Gene Annotation: Includes curated information on oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes associated with viral integration events.
- Virus–Host Interaction Data: Links integration sites with regulatory features including non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), target gene expression, and microRNA expression across multiple cancer types.
- Integration Site Visualization: Provides visualization of individual integration events, clusters of viral integration sites, nearby DNA elements, and virus–host regulatory interactions.
