VisioProt-MS
VisioProt-MS visualizes deconvoluted intact protein mass spectrometry (MS) data as interactive 2D LC-MS maps and 3D LC-MS plots to analyze proteoforms using deconvoluted molecular weights, retention times, and signal intensity.
Key Features:
- Compatibility: Compatible with algorithms and software for integrating and deconvoluting top-down and intact protein MS data.
- Interactive mapping: Generates interactive 2D maps and 3D LC-MS plots representing deconvoluted molecular weights, retention times, and MS signal intensity.
- MS/MS representation: Provides graphical representations tailored for MS and tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) analysis of proteoforms in complex samples.
- Acquisition and search optimization: Aids optimization of top-down acquisition and search parameters through visualization of LC-MS maps.
Scientific Applications:
- Proteoform Analysis: Examination of proteoforms via deconvoluted molecular weights and retention times.
- Parameter Optimization: Optimization of top-down MS acquisition and search parameters based on visual inspection of LC-MS data.
- Complex Sample Analysis: Analysis of complex biological samples, exemplified by the human proteasomal 20S core particle.
Methodology:
Plots deconvoluted molecular weights against retention times and signal intensity to produce interactive 2D maps and LC-MS visualizations.
