AADB curates experimentally validated antibiotic–adjuvant combinations to support research into adjuvants that potentiate antibiotic efficacy and address antimicrobial resistance.

  • Comprehensive Data Collection: Contains 3,035 unique antibiotic–adjuvant combinations derived from manual curation of literature, covering 83 antibiotics, 226 adjuvants, and 325 bacterial strains.
  • Integration with Related Datasets: Links antibiotic–adjuvant entries with chemogenomic and metabolomic datasets to enable multi-dimensional analyses of molecular interactions and mechanisms.
  • Computational Strategy for Data Analysis: Employs a computational framework to dissect complex datasets and identify candidate adjuvants, applied to nominate 10 candidate adjuvants for minocycline with six confirmed effective against E. coli BW25113.
