AMIS
AMIS maps the spatial distribution of G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) in mouse tissues to support functional characterization and drug discovery.
Key Features:
- High-resolution imaging: Generates high-resolution visualizations of GPCR expression patterns across mouse tissues using advanced imaging techniques.
- PRESTO-TANGO and TRUPATH integration: Integrates imaging data with PRESTO-TANGO and TRUPATH assay results to connect receptor localization with functional and ligand-interaction data.
- ZINC virtual library linkage: Links receptors to small-molecule chemistry via the ZINC virtual library, covering billions of small molecules for potential GPCR targeting.
- Structural data incorporation: Incorporates structural data from solved orphan GPCR structures to contextualize expression patterns.
- Genetic model information: Includes genetic information from GPCR knock-in mouse models to relate expression to genotype.
- IDG contribution: Contributes imaging resources to the Illuminating the Druggable Genome (IDG) project for understudied "dark" GPCRs.
