Argonaut
Argonaut performs statistical analysis and visualization of multi-omic mass spectrometry datasets to assess molecular perturbations across experimental conditions.
Key Features:
- Data Upload and Organization: Accepts spreadsheets containing quantitative values from Condition/Control-type mass spectrometry experiments and structures datasets according to experimental setup.
- Statistical Analysis: Performs statistical analyses to assess the significance of molecular perturbations across different conditions.
- Interactive Data Exploration and Visualization: Supports real-time querying and generation of volcano plots, Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analyses, and linear correlation analyses via interactive visualizations.
Scientific Applications:
- Multi-omic Data Integration: Analysis and comparison of quantitative datasets derived from mass spectrometry across conditions for integrated omic studies.
- Mitochondrial Protease Deletion Collections: Applied to large mitochondrial protease deletion collections to identify proteomic perturbations and biological signals.
Methodology:
Processes spreadsheets of Condition/Control mass spectrometry quantitative values; performs statistical significance testing of molecular perturbations; generates volcano plots, conducts Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analyses, and computes linear correlations using real-time querying and interactive visualization tools.
