ATARiS

ATARiS quantifies gene-level phenotypes from multi-sample RNAi screens by identifying RNAi reagents with consistent on-target effects and filtering off-target noise.


Key Features:

  • Pattern Recognition: Analyzes phenotype patterns across multiple samples to identify RNAi reagents whose outcomes reflect on-target gene suppression.
  • Quantitative Analysis: Produces quantitative, gene-level phenotype values that represent suppression effects in each sample.

Scientific Applications:

  • Large-scale RNAi screening analysis: Applied to over 100 human cancer cell lines, enabling the identification of HNF1B as a transforming oncogene required for survival of cells with HNF1B amplifications.

Methodology:

Leverages similarities across RNAi reagent-response profiles across multiple samples to isolate reagent groups consistent with on-target gene suppression and summarizes these into gene-level phenotype scores.
