AutoGRAPH
AutoGRAPH performs automated multi-species comparative genomics analyses to identify conserved segments (CS), breakpoint regions, and chromosomal rearrangements for studying genomic conservation and evolutionary relationships.
Key Features:
- Conserved Segments and Breakpoints: Identifies conserved segments (CS) and breakpoint regions across genomes.
- Marker/Gene Order Conservation: Assesses conservation of marker or gene order between organisms.
- Synteny Map Construction: Constructs detailed synteny maps for two to three species.
- Chromosomal Rearrangement Detection: Detects chromosomal rearrangements including inversions, translocations, and other structural variations.
- Integration of Genomic Resources: Integrates and compares meiotic maps, radiation hybrid maps, and genome sequences within a species.
- Macrosynteny and Microsynteny Analysis: Analyzes macrosynteny and microsynteny relationships and identifies evolutionary breakpoints.
- Dataset Support: Operates on both personal datasets and pre-inserted public datasets.
Scientific Applications:
- Evolutionary Analysis: Characterizes evolutionary relationships and chromosomal dynamics via conserved segments and breakpoint identification.
- Comparative Genomics: Compares genomic conservation and rearrangements across multiple species.
- Structural Variation Mapping: Maps inversions, translocations, and other structural variations to study genome organization.
- Integrative Genomic Analysis: Combines meiotic maps, radiation hybrid maps, and genome sequences to resolve within-species genome organization.
Methodology:
Automated identification of synteny relationships (macrosynteny and microsynteny), detection of conserved segments (CS) and breakpoint regions, and generation of synteny maps for two to three species using personal and pre-inserted public datasets with integration of meiotic maps, radiation hybrid maps, and genome sequences.
