cmapR
cmapR implements methods to parse, manipulate, and write common Connectivity Map (CMap) data objects, such as annotated matrices and collections of gene sets, enabling computational analysis of perturbational gene expression profiles from the NIH Library of Integrated Network-Based Cellular Signatures (LINCS) program.
Key Features:
- Data Parsing: cmapR parses common CMap data objects including annotated matrices and collections of gene sets.
- Data Manipulation: cmapR manipulates common CMap data objects including annotated matrices and collections of gene sets.
- Data Writing: cmapR writes common CMap data objects including annotated matrices and collections of gene sets.
Scientific Applications:
- CMap Data Analysis: cmapR supports computational analysis of perturbational gene expression profiles from the Connectivity Map resource built by researchers at the Broad Institute and funded by the NIH LINCS program.
Methodology:
The package implements methods to parse, manipulate, and write common CMap data objects.
