genomicInstability
genomicInstability performs genomic instability analysis (GIA) from scRNA-Seq data to estimate the association between gene expression and genomic location of coding genes and derive a Genomic Instability Score (GIS) for each cell.
Key Features:
- Genomic Instability Analysis (GIA): Estimates the association between gene expression and genomic location of coding genes from scRNA-Seq data.
- aREA Algorithm Integration: Quantifies the enrichment of sets of contiguous genes (loci-blocks) on gene expression profiles.
- Genomic Instability Score (GIS) Estimation: Computes a GIS for each analyzed cell based on loci-block enrichment patterns.
Scientific Applications:
- Single-Cell Genomic Instability Profiling: Enables cell-level assessment of genomic instability from scRNA-Seq transcriptomic data.
Methodology:
The aREA algorithm is used to quantify the enrichment of sets of contiguous genes (loci-blocks) on gene expression profiles.
