InterCellar
InterCellar analyzes cell-cell communication from scRNA-seq data through interactive filtering, annotation, visualization, and data-driven functional investigation of ligand-receptor interactions across conditions.
Key Features:
- Ligand-receptor interaction analysis: Starting from precomputed ligand-receptor interactions, InterCellar provides filtering options, annotations and multiple visualizations to explore clusters, genes and functions.
- Functional annotation integration: InterCellar implements data-driven analyses based on functional annotation from Gene Ontology and pathway databases to investigate cell-cell communication.
- Multi-condition comparison: InterCellar supports investigation of cell-cell communication in one or multiple conditions.
Scientific Applications:
- Single-cell transcriptomics: InterCellar analyzes cell-cell communication from scRNA-seq data.
- Cell-cell communication exploration: InterCellar enables exploration of clusters, genes and functions involved in intercellular signaling.
Methodology:
InterCellar is implemented as an R/Bioconductor Package. Analysis starts from precomputed ligand-receptor interactions, with functional annotation drawn from Gene Ontology and pathway databases.
