mobileRNA

mobileRNA provides methods to pre-process, analyse and visualise sRNA and mRNA populations by mapping reads to all genotypes simultaneously to identify RNAs produced by multiple genomes within a biological system.

Key Features:

  • Multi-genome mapping: Maps sequencing reads to all genotypes at the same time to identify RNA populations from multiple genomes.
  • sRNA population analysis: Provides methods to pre-process, analyse and visualise small RNA populations.
  • mRNA population analysis: Provides methods to pre-process, analyse and visualise messenger RNA populations.
  • Visualisation: Includes methods to visualise RNA population data and analysis results.

Scientific Applications:

  • Host-pathogen RNA detection: Identifies RNA produced by pathogens within a host organism.
  • Plant graft system analysis: Detects mobile RNAs in plant graft systems.
  • Population-scale RNA comparison: Identifies differences between RNA populations in two conditions, both in production and abundance.

Methodology:

Reads are mapped to all genotypes at the same time to enable identification of RNAs produced by multiple genomes within a biological system.
