rqt
rqt performs gene-level GWAS meta-analysis by calculating effect sizes and corresponding p-values for whole genes rather than single variants.
Key Features:
- Gene-level association testing: Computes effect sizes and p-values at the gene level rather than for individual single nucleotide variants.
- GWAS meta-analysis: Provides utilities for combining results across multiple genome-wide association studies at the gene level.
Scientific Applications:
- Next-generation sequencing data analysis: Supports gene-set association tests for next-generation sequencing data as described in Lee et al (2016).
Methodology:
The package implements methods described in "Gene-set association tests for next-generation sequencing data" by Lee et al (2016), Bioinformatics, 32(17), i611-i619.
