Site2Target implements statistics for peak-wise and gene-wise associations between regulatory peaks and target genes.

Key Features:

• Peak-wise association statistics: Calculates p-values of target genes for a given set of peaks using negative binomial or Poisson distributions for unweighted peaks targets and log-normal distribution for weighted peaks.
• Gene-wise association statistics: Generates a table of genes mapped to specific peaks using given rules.

Scientific Applications:

• Peak-target gene association analysis: Identifies statistical relationships between regulatory peaks and their putative target genes for genomic regulatory studies.

Methodology:
