SpectriPy
SpectriPy enables integration of Python-based mass spectrometry analysis code with the Bioconductor Spectra package, allowing bidirectional conversion of MS data structures between R and Python environments.
Key Features:
- Cross-language data conversion: Spectra objects can be converted into Python mass spectrometry data structures.
- matchms integration: SpectriPy integrates and wraps the similarity scoring and processing/filtering functions from the Python matchms package into R.
Scientific Applications:
- Cross-language mass spectrometry data analysis: SpectriPy supports combined use of R and Python tools for mass spectrometry data processing and analysis workflows.
Methodology:
SpectriPy converts Spectra objects to Python mass spectrometry data structures and wraps matchms similarity scoring and processing/filtering functions for use in R.
