BioModels Parameter
BioModels Parameter retrieves parameter values and rate equations from SBML-encoded models in the BioModels repository to support parameter estimation and model calibration in systems biology.
Key Features:
- Enhanced searchability: Enables search for model entities such as proteins or drugs and retrieves associated rate equations, parameter values (degradation rates, production rates, Kcat, Michaelis-Menten constants), and initial concentrations.
- Extensive database: Aggregates parameter information across over 84,000 reactions covering 60 taxa from models in the BioModels repository.
- Cross-referencing: Provides cross-references to linked model elements and external annotations to aid interpretation and reuse of parameter values.

- Model calibration: Supplies empirical parameter values and rate laws for calibrating systems biology models to experimental data.
- Parameter scanning: Provides parameter ranges and values for sensitivity analysis and optimization studies.
