CanImmunother

CanImmunother provides a curated database of experimentally validated associations among immunotherapies, biomarkers, targets, control therapies, cancer sub-types, and body parts to support cancer immunotherapy research.

Key Features:

  • Extensive Data Collection: The database compiles data from 4,515 publications, extracting 3,267 validated associations that link 484 immunotherapies, 642 biomarkers, 108 targets, and 121 control therapies across 218 cancer sub-types in 34 body parts.
  • Manual Curation: Each association was manually curated by professional curators and annotated with contextual details and literature cross-references to ensure data quality.
  • Association Scoring: Every association is assigned a score reflecting its significance and relevance to facilitate prioritization.

Scientific Applications:

  • Biomarker Discovery: Supports identification of biomarkers that predict response to cancer immunotherapies.
  • Target Identification: Facilitates identification of potential therapeutic targets for development or repurposing of immunotherapies.
  • Clinical Decision-Making: Provides experimentally validated associations that can inform personalized treatment planning and clinical research.

Methodology:

Manual curation by professional curators, comprehensive annotation of each entry, and cross-referencing to relevant literature.
