CentiServer
CentiServer provides centrality indices and computational methods to identify essential nodes in biological networks.
Key Features:
- Centrality definitions and algorithms: Over 110 centrality definitions with their associated computational methods and algorithms are documented.
- Computable centralities: Calculation of 55 distinct centrality measures is supported.
- Output formats: Computed results can be exported as comma-separated values (CSV) and Graph Modeling Language (GML) files.
- R package: Implementations of the methods are provided in the centiserve R package.
Scientific Applications:
- Identification of essential nodes: Use of centrality measures to identify essential nodes in biological networks.
- Comparative analysis of centralities: Comparison and interpretation of over 110 centrality definitions and their computational methods.
Methodology:
Computation of centrality indices using the documented computational methods and algorithms, including calculation of 55 distinct centralities, with results exportable as CSV and GML and implementations provided in the centiserve R package.
