Chainy
Chainy performs standardized analysis of raw real-time PCR (qPCR) kinetic data to calculate reaction efficiencies, evaluate reference genes, apply normalization, and support group-wise relative quantification via statistical testing.
Key Features:
- Efficiency Calculation: Calculates reaction efficiencies from raw real-time PCR kinetic data using advanced methods to provide parameters for accurate quantification.
- Reference Evaluation: Evaluates the suitability of multiple reference genes to guide optimal normalization.
- Standardized Normalization: Applies standardized normalization using one or more reference genes to enhance comparability and reproducibility across experiments.
- Statistical Testing: Performs group-wise relative quantification through statistical testing to assess differences between sample groups.
Scientific Applications:
- Differential Expression Analysis: Enables identification of differential gene expression patterns across samples or conditions through standardized normalization and quantification.
- ChIP-QPCR Analysis: Applicable to chromatin immunoprecipitation followed by quantitative PCR (ChIP-QPCR) for analysis of protein–DNA interactions and epigenetic modifications.
Methodology:
Processes raw real-time PCR kinetic data with steps explicitly including efficiency calculations, reference gene evaluation, normalization using one or more references, and group-wise statistical testing.
