Cinema Snap
Cinema Snap performs real-time analysis of experimental data acquired at user light sources during dynamic diamond anvil cell (DAC) experiments, extracting phase information from integrated x-ray diffraction, pressure, and temperature measurements to detect phase transitions during compression.
Key Features:
- Real-Time Data Analysis: Processes experimental data in real time during DAC experiments to provide immediate analytical outputs.
- Phase Determination: Identifies phases and phase transitions observed during material compression using integrated x-ray diffraction and pressure–temperature data.
- Automated Two-Peak Analysis: Performs automated two-peak analysis for overlapping peaks and multiple phases to improve interpretation of complex diffraction patterns.
- Coordinated Views and Visualizations: Produces coordinated representations of pressure and temperature values, full-compression contour plots, and configurable views of integrated x-ray diffraction data.
- Workflow Integration: Integrates with existing workflows and data formats used by high-pressure scientists to support automated processing systems.
- Remote Data Analysis Support: Supports remote processing of experimental data to enable analysis separate from data acquisition sites.
Scientific Applications:
- Geophysics: Provides real-time phase-transition information relevant to studies of planetary interiors.
- Materials Science: Enables exploration of new materials by providing immediate feedback on phase behavior under extreme pressure and temperature.
- Condensed Matter Physics: Aids investigation of phase transitions and material behavior under extreme conditions relevant to condensed matter physics.
Methodology:
Connects data acquisition with automated processing and applies advanced analytics, including automated two-peak analysis and dynamic visualizations of integrated x-ray diffraction, pressure, and temperature data.
