• Optimized Search Engine: A modified ProLuCID-ComPIL search engine is optimized for querying experimental spectra with increased accuracy and speed, enabling searches of complex metasamples with unknown compositions from human, animal, and environmental microbiomes.
• Enhanced Identification Accuracy: ComPIL 2.0 increases the number and confidence of unique peptide and protein identifications, as demonstrated on a healthy human gut microbiome proteomic sample.
