CorNet Maize

CorNet Maize integrates heterogeneous genomic and interaction data to construct and analyze coexpression, protein-protein interaction, and regulatory networks in maize.


Key Features:

  • Data Integration: Integrates heterogeneous data types including microarray expression datasets and regulatory interaction datasets and incorporates transcription factor (TF) interactions for combined analyses with coexpression and PPI data.
  • Network Construction: Constructs coexpression networks from predefined or user-defined groups of microarray experiments and builds interaction networks from PPI data including gene-gene associations from AraNet and newly identified PPIs.
  • Search and Visualization: Supports construction of networks centered on multiple input genes or proteins and visualizes networks and associated evidence using Cytoscape.
  • Functional Annotation Resources: Retrieves literature, phenotypes, Plant Ontology terms, and biological pathway annotations to link network components to existing knowledge.
