CoV-AbDab

CoV-AbDab aggregates a repository of antibodies and nanobodies documented to bind members of the betacoronavirus family, including SARS-CoV-2, to support research into antibody sequences, epitopes, and cross-neutralization.


Key Features:

  • Extensive Data Collection: As of 5 August 2020, contains information on over 1,400 published and patented antibodies and nanobodies from 66 scientific papers and 21 patents, including 1,131 entries that bind SARS-CoV-2.
  • Comprehensive Metadata: Records evidence of cross-neutralization, antibody/nanobody origin, full variable domain sequences where available, and germline assignments.
  • Epitope and Structural Links: Annotates epitope regions and provides links to relevant Protein Data Bank (PDB) entries and available homology models.
  • Cross-Species Coverage: Includes entries that bind other betacoronaviruses such as SARS-CoV-1 and MERS-CoV.
