CoVAM consolidates clinical trial information on complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) interventions for SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19.


Key Features:

  • Comprehensive coverage: Organizes clinical trial records into ten CAM subtypes: Acupuncture, Auricular point pressing, Ayurveda, Chiropractic, Homeopathy, Psychotherapy, Siddha, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Vitamins and dietary supplements, and Yoga/Exercise.
  • Detailed trial metadata: For each registered trial provides the full title, sponsor name, sponsor protocol number or ID, participant age group, study type, enrollment, start date, phase, and current status.
  • Data integration: Links records to the original clinical trial databases and to PubMed for related publications.
  • Technological framework: Implemented using MySQL for database management, Node.js (with Express) for API management, and Angular 11.
