DevOmics

DevOmics provides an integrated multi-omics database for analyzing molecular regulatory mechanisms during early embryo development in human and mouse.

Key Features:

  • Multi-Omics Integration: Consolidates normalized gene expression profiles, DNA methylation, histone modifications (H3K4me3, H3K9me3, H3K27me3, H3K27ac), chromatin accessibility, and 3D chromatin architecture across zygote, 2-cell, 4-cell, 8-cell, morula, and blastocyst (ICM and TE) stages in human and mouse.
  • Search Functionality: Supports retrieval of genes and datasets across the integrated multi-omics collection.
  • Differentially Expressed Genes (DEGs) Analysis: Identifies DEGs between sample types or developmental stages to reveal gene expression dynamics.
  • Allelic Explorer: Visualizes allele-specific gene expression and allele-specific epigenetic modifications.
  • Correlation Analysis: Computes correlations across omics layers to examine dynamic changes during embryonic development.
  • Genome Browser: Displays genomic tracks and integrated datasets for locus-level exploration.
  • Ortholog Tool: Identifies and compares orthologous genes between human and mouse to support cross-species comparisons.

Scientific Applications:

  • Regulatory mechanism studies: Enables investigation of molecular regulatory mechanisms that govern cell fate decisions during early embryogenesis.
  • Assisted reproductive research: Supports research relevant to assisted reproductive technologies and preimplantation genetic testing by providing transcriptomic and epigenetic insights.
  • Cross-species comparative analysis: Facilitates comparison of human and mouse embryonic development through ortholog mapping and multi-omics integration.

Methodology:

Uses single-cell transcriptomics and epigenomics profiling, normalization of datasets, and integration of multi-omics data.
