EbolaID provides a quality-checked, regularly updated database of oligonucleotides and sequence-conservation measures for the Ebola virus to support design of nucleic acid-based diagnostics and therapeutics.


Key Features:

  • Genetic diversity capture: Captures genetic diversity across the Ebola virus genome to inform selection of assay targets.
  • Sequence conservation measures: Computes sequence conservation metrics for each target region derived from multiple sequence alignments.
  • Oligonucleotide repository: Maintains a quality-checked, regularly updated list of oligonucleotides for PCR/qPCR primers and probes, siRNAs, and related nucleic acid reagents.
