Enrichr-KG
Enrichr-KG integrates selected Enrichr gene set libraries into a knowledge graph to perform cross-library gene set enrichment analysis and visualize enriched terms and gene associations.
Key Features:
- Integration Across Libraries: Combines selected Enrichr gene set libraries to enable cross-library enrichment analysis across transcription factors, pathways, ontologies, diseases/drugs, and cell types.
- Knowledge Graph Database: Stores gene-term relationships in a knowledge graph and represents enrichment results as subgraphs composed of nodes (genes) and links (connections to enriched terms).
- Customization and Expansion: Supports adding gene-gene links and predicted genes to subgraphs to expand inferred biological interactions and pathways.
- Diverse Gene Set Libraries: Supports 26 gene set libraries across multiple categories to provide broad-spectrum data for enrichment analysis.
Scientific Applications:
- Cross-library hypothesis generation: Enables generation and prioritization of hypotheses by examining associations across multiple annotated gene set libraries.
- Omics data integration and visualization: Integrates enrichment results from omics experiments and visualizes them as interconnected subgraphs to reveal gene function and regulation.
- Functional interpretation across domains: Facilitates interpretation of gene lists with respect to transcription factors, pathways, ontologies, diseases/drugs, and cell types.
Methodology:
Integrates selected Enrichr gene set libraries into a knowledge graph, constructs subgraph visualizations of enrichment results (nodes as genes and links to enriched terms), and permits addition of gene-gene links and predicted genes.
