EVLncRNAs
EVLncRNAs provides a manually curated database of experimentally validated long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), integrating sequence, structural, functional, and phenotypic information to support studies of lncRNA function and disease associations.
Key Features:
- Comprehensive data collection: EVLncRNAs 2.0 incorporates literature up to May 15, 2020 with extensive manual curation and reports increases of annotated lncRNAs (260%), associated diseases (320%), lncRNA–disease associations (484%), and interaction records (537%).
- Diverse categories: The database includes subclassifications such as 8 lncRNA structures, 33 exosomal lncRNAs, 188 circular RNAs, and 1,079 drug-resistant/chemoresistant/stress-resistant lncRNAs.
- Quality assurance: All records were verified against known retracted and fake articles to enhance data reliability.
- Integration with existing resources: EVLncRNAs integrates entries from lncRNAdb, LncRANDisease, Lnc2Cancer, and PLNIncRBase, comprising 1,543 lncRNAs from 77 species, of which 74% are new or partially new relative to those databases.

Methodology:
Manual curation of peer-reviewed literature was used to extract and integrate sequence, structural, functional, and phenotypic information for experimentally validated lncRNAs.
