EWAS provides integrated data and analytical tools for epigenome-wide association studies, aggregating DNA methylation associations, normalized methylation array data, and enrichment, annotation, and network-analysis functionalities.

  • Platform components: EWAS integrates three core components: the EWAS Atlas, EWAS Data Hub, and the EWAS Toolkit.
  • Aggregated EWAS associations: The resource includes 617,018 high-quality EWAS associations curated from 910 publications and covering 51 phenotypes, 275 diseases, and 104 environmental factors.
  • Comprehensive DNA methylation data: The platform provides well-normalized DNA methylation array data and associated metadata for 115,852 samples encompassing 707 tissues, 218 cell lines, and links to 528 diseases.
  • Analytical toolkit: The EWAS Toolkit supports enrichment analysis, annotation, and construction and visualization of knowledge networks.
