ExpEdit identifies and characterizes RNA editing events from RNA-Seq data by assessing sequence deviations between RNA and genomic DNA in transcriptomes, including mRNAs, tRNAs, and rRNAs, while excluding modifications attributable to RNA splicing and polyadenylation.
