EZCancerTarget
EZCancerTarget integrates genomic, proteomic, and pharmacological data from public databases to support drug repurposing and target validation in cancer research.
Key Features:
- Data Aggregation: Aggregates data and literature from PubChem, DrugBank, PubMed, and EMA.
- Multi-omic Integration: Integrates genomic, proteomic, and pharmacological information to generate combined molecular profiles.
- Custom Drug–Target Lists: Produces customizable drug–target lists for prioritization of clinically relevant targets for functional validation assays or drug trials.
- Biological Contextualization: Supplements compound and target entries with UniProt, String, and GeneCards annotations including pathways, molecular functions, and subcellular localization.
- Disease Focus: Incorporates content and expertise relevant to small-cell lung cancer (SCLC), triple-negative breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
Scientific Applications:
- Drug Repurposing: Supports identification and prioritization of existing compounds for new cancer indications using aggregated pharmacological and literature evidence.
- Target Validation: Provides compiled molecular, pathway, and literature data to support experimental and clinical target validation.
- Prioritization for Assays and Trials: Enables selection of clinically relevant targets for functional validation assays or drug trials.
- Systematic Retrieval: Facilitates systematic searches and data retrieval for targets and compounds across PubChem, DrugBank, PubMed, and EMA.
Methodology:
Aggregates and integrates genomic, proteomic, and pharmacological data from PubChem, DrugBank, PubMed, EMA, UniProt, String, and GeneCards to produce compound- and target-centric profiles.
