FaDA

FaDA performs statistical analysis and visualization of laboratory data from quantitative PCR (qPCR), flow cytometry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to support interpretation of experimental results.

Key Features:

  • Supported Data Types: Handles quantitative PCR (qPCR), flow cytometry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) data.
  • Statistical Analysis Capabilities: Implements parametric and non-parametric group comparisons and multiple testing corrections for standard laboratory analyses.
  • Data Visualization Options: Generates heatmaps, principal component analysis (PCA) plots, and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves for data exploration and interpretation.

Scientific Applications:

  • Molecular Biology: Interpretation and comparison of quantitative assays such as qPCR in molecular biology studies.
  • Immunology: Analysis and visualization of flow cytometry and ELISA data for immunological investigations.
  • Clinical Diagnostics: Support of diagnostic assay data analysis and performance assessment using ROC curves and comparative statistics.

Methodology:

Implemented in R using the R Shiny package; uses R for calculations and provides parametric and non-parametric statistical tests, multiple testing corrections, heatmaps, PCA, and ROC curve generation.
