FC-NIRS

FC-NIRS analyzes functional connectivity in near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) data using MATLAB, enabling preprocessing, quality control, connectivity calculation, and network analysis for resting-state human brain studies.

Key Features:

  • MATLAB-based implementation: Implemented in MATLAB for processing fNIRS datasets.
  • Comprehensive data processing: Provides preprocessing, quality control, and advanced algorithms for computing functional connectivity metrics from raw fNIRS data.
  • Network analysis capabilities: Supports network-level analyses to characterize complex brain connectivity patterns.
  • Batch processing functionality: Supports batch processing of multiple fNIRS datasets for large-scale analyses.

Scientific Applications:

  • Human functional connectome studies: Applied to resting-state fNIRS data to investigate large-scale brain connectivity.
  • Cognitive and neurological disorder research: Used to explore networks underlying cognitive functions and neurological disorders.
  • Cohort and longitudinal analyses: Suitable for processing extensive datasets in large cohort and longitudinal study designs.

Methodology:

Performs preprocessing, quality control, functional connectivity calculation, and network analysis on fNIRS data and has been validated using real human brain imaging data.
