fqquality performs quality control on high-throughput sequencing reads by trimming or masking low-quality terminal bases, lowering quality scores to a minimum threshold, and producing singlet output for paired-end data.

- Quality Adjustment: Decreases quality scores to a minimum threshold to ensure consistency across datasets.
