FTDMP
FTDMP performs biomolecular docking, scoring, and ranking of structural models for protein-protein, protein-DNA, and protein-RNA complexes.
Key Features:
- VoroIF-jury Consensus Scoring: Evaluates models using a consensus-based method that combines individual scores derived from Voronoi tessellation of biomolecular structures.
- Flexible Scoring Integration: Adopts additional scores beyond the default scoring mode to assess newly developed scoring functions.
- Multi-chain Docking: Performs docking of subunits containing one or more protein, DNA, or RNA chains.
- External Model Ranking: Ranks user-provided models of biomolecular complexes generated by any structure prediction method.
Scientific Applications:
- Biomolecular Complex Modeling: Models protein-protein, protein-DNA, and protein-RNA interactions through docking and scoring.
- Scoring Function Development: Serves as a platform to assess and benchmark newly developed scoring functions.
- Blind Assessment Validation: Evaluated in CAPRI experiments and protein-protein, protein-DNA, and protein-RNA docking benchmarks.
Methodology:
FTDMP uses Voronoi tessellation of biomolecular structures to derive individual scores, which are combined through the VoroIF-jury consensus method for model evaluation.
