FunRich

FunRich performs functional enrichment and interaction network analysis of genes, proteins, and other biological datasets to identify enriched biological functions, pathways, and molecular interactions.


Key Features:

  • Extensive database integration: Integrates over 1.5 million annotations from diverse genomic and proteomic resources, including a default human-specific database and UniProt entries spanning 20 taxonomies.
  • Customizable databases: Allows creation of custom background databases to apply enrichment analyses across genomics, proteomics, lipidomics, and metabolomics datasets and across different organisms.
  • Functional enrichment analysis: Performs enrichment analysis on gene- and protein-level datasets to identify significantly overrepresented biological functions and pathways.
  • Interaction network analysis: Analyzes molecular interaction networks to explore relationships among genes, proteins, and biological processes.
  • Graphical outputs: Produces graphical representations including Venn diagrams, pie charts, bar and column charts, heatmaps, and doughnut charts for visualization of analysis results.
