GBCdb
GBCdb integrates published multi-omics and experimentally validated datasets to construct ncRNA-mRNA interaction networks and catalog gallbladder carcinoma (GBC)-associated genes for investigation of GBC molecular mechanisms.
Key Features:
- Integration of Multi-Omics Data: Integrates genomic, transcriptomic, and other omics layers from published studies to provide multi-level molecular profiles of GBC.
- Experimentally Supported Data: Incorporates experimentally validated datasets alongside published data to support the reliability of gene and interaction annotations.
- RNA Interaction Networks: Constructs RNA interaction networks with an emphasis on ncRNA-mRNA interactions to represent regulatory relationships in gallbladder carcinoma.
- GBC-Associated Gene Catalog: Compiles genes associated with gallbladder carcinoma derived from integrated datasets and interaction evidence.
Scientific Applications:
- Molecular Mechanism Elucidation: Enables analysis of ncRNA-mRNA networks and multi-omics profiles to investigate molecular mechanisms underlying GBC pathogenesis.
- Diagnostic and Prognostic Insights: Supports identification of candidate biomarkers and therapeutic targets from integrated multi-omics and experimentally validated data.
- Research Facilitation: Supports hypothesis generation and the exploration of RNA regulatory roles in GBC by providing integrated datasets and interaction networks.
Methodology:
Uses published multi-omics datasets and experimentally supported data to construct comprehensive RNA interaction networks, focusing on ncRNA-mRNA interactions and gene expression landscapes in gallbladder carcinoma.
