GXA Expt

GXA Expt aggregates and summarizes curated gene expression data to report differential expression and provide summary statistics across cell types, organism parts, developmental stages, disease states, and sample treatments.

Key Features:

• Data Source and Curation: Content is derived from curation, re-annotation, and statistical analysis of selected datasets from the ArrayExpress Archive and the European Nucleotide Archive.
• Query Capabilities: Supports queries of differential gene expression by gene name, gene attributes, and biological conditions including diseases, organism parts, cell types, developmental stages, and sample treatments.
• Coverage and Content Statistics: As of Release 11.08 (August 2011), includes data for 19 species, 19,014 biological conditions, 136,551 assays, and 5,598 independent studies.
• Analytical Outputs: Provides summary statistics and differential expression results suitable for meta-analysis and identification of condition-specific expression patterns.
