human-gpDB curates and organizes experimentally supported interactions among human G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), G-proteins, and effectors to support analysis of G-protein signaling pathways.

- Content scope: Contains data on 713 human GPCRs, 36 human G-proteins, and 99 human effectors.
- Interaction dataset: Includes 1,663 GPCR–G-protein interactions and 1,618 G-protein–effector connections, manually curated from the literature.
- Relational database: Implemented as a relational database to store entities and interactions.
- Hierarchical classification: Organizes G-proteins and GPCRs into classes, families, and sub-families and classifies effectors into families, subfamilies, and types based on function.
- IUPHAR-aligned GPCR classification: Adopts IUPHAR guidelines for GPCR classification.
- Data integration and visualization: Integrates external data sources and supports visualization of interaction networks.
