InteractomeSeq

InteractomeSeq performs identification and profiling of protein domains (domainome) and epitopes (epitome) from phage display libraries by combining phage display and deep sequencing for high-throughput analysis.

Key Features:

  • Domainome and Epitome Analysis: Enables identification and profiling of protein domains and epitopes derived from eukaryotic and prokaryotic genomic phage libraries.
  • Raw Sequencing Input and Parameter Customization: Accepts raw high-throughput sequencing data and supports customizable analysis parameters for tailored processing.
  • Noise Background and Heterogeneity Handling: Accounts for the noise background and inherent heterogeneity typical of interactome-sequencing datasets to improve result reliability.
  • Interactome-Sequencing Integration: Integrates phage display with deep sequencing to enable large-scale profiling of domainome and epitome.

Scientific Applications:

  • Large-Scale Biomarker Profiling: Supports comprehensive identification of biomarkers from phage display sequencing data for discovery studies.
  • Reverse Vaccinology: Facilitates epitope profiling to identify potential antigenic targets for vaccine development.
  • Structural and Functional Studies: Provides domain- and epitope-level data useful for investigating protein structure and function relationships.
  • Gene Annotation and Antigen Identification: Aids in accurate characterization of gene products and identification of antigens from genomic phage libraries.

Methodology:

Implements an interactome-sequencing approach that combines phage display with deep sequencing to bypass picking and testing individual phage clones and enable high-throughput analysis.
