Ligand-gated ion channel database (LGICdb) catalogs annotated nucleic acid and protein sequences, multiple sequence alignments, phylogenetic analyses, and available atomic coordinates for ligand-gated ion channels (LGICs), polymeric transmembrane proteins mediating rapid neurotransmitter responses, to support sequence, evolutionary, and structural research.
