MaCPepDB - Mass Centric Peptide Database

MaCPepDB provides rapid access to tryptic peptides derived from UniProtKB (Swiss‑Prot and TrEMBL) for mass‑spectrometry‑based proteomics, enabling sequence‑ and mass‑centric queries including posttranslational modification mass variants.

  • Comprehensive Peptide Database: Contains 5,939,244,990 tryptic peptides from 185,561,610 proteins derived from UniProtKB (version 2020_03).
  • Query Flexibility: Supports peptide‑sequence queries to retrieve associated proteins and assess peptide uniqueness and mass‑based queries to find peptides or precursor ions for specified masses used in SRM and PRM.
  • Posttranslational Modifications (PTMs): Accommodates queries incorporating PTMs and their mass deviations to identify modified peptides.
  • Efficiency: Executes queries with low latency, typically returning results in less than one second.
