MainzelHandler

MainzelHandler provides pseudonymization for medical research by integrating with the Mainzelliste to replace personally identifiable information (PII) with pseudonyms for secure data sharing and analysis.

Key Features:

• Conformance to TMF Guidelines: Adheres to the guidelines of the Technologie- und Methodenplattform für die vernetzte medizinische Forschung e.V. (TMF) for pseudonymization.
• REST-API Support: Performs de- and pseudonymization via the Mainzelliste RESTful API.
• Security Mechanisms: Implements session and tokening mechanisms to protect personally identifiable information (PII) during pseudonymization.
• Implementation Languages: Provides a JavaScript frontend library and a Java backend with an optional Spring Boot extension.
